all the fishes is diffrent some are bigger some got marks etc its easy to see a diffrent lol
In a lake / river or w/e, I still don't see how you could find EXACTLY the same fish 6 times. Still my point stands, they lack the mental capacity to realise the same thing will hurt them. The stove is hot scenario doesn't apply to fish, they don't understand

Well, if/when I become a parent I'll know better than to just let my kids roam freely on the internet because I've been brought up in the age of the internet. Parents right now may be naive enough to believe a gaming forum is strictly for gaming.

Ahh the internet, full of conflicting information:
"
Do fish feel pain?
The world's foremost expert on the subject is Dr. James D. Rose of the University of Wyoming. He's spent 30 years working on questions of neurology, examining data on the responses of animals to painful stimuli. In 2003 Rose published a landmark study in the journal Reviews of Fisheries Science, concluding that animals need specific regions of the cerebral cortex in order to feel pain. And fish do not have them.
But doesn't it hurt to have a hook in your mouth?
There's a big difference between pain and the perception of pain (which scientists call "nociception"). Dr. Rose explained to London's Telegraph newspaper:
"Pain is predicated on awareness … A person who is anaesthetized in an operating theatre will still respond physically to an external stimulus, but he or she will not feel pain. Anyone who has seen a chicken with its head cut off will know that, while its body can respond to stimuli, it cannot be feeling pain."
"
I'd like to find and read his study but I'm just too lazy to find it right now.
Me too actually...
I suppose it's a grey area. There are plenty of studies that show they do, and I'm sure plenty showing they won't. However, I think we can conclude in hunting, the animals WILL feel pain, however
I also believe parents are in fact, very naiive. A lot is accessible at a few clicks. I google certain words, I can find "grotesque" images in a matter of seconds. I hope I don't get a warn for this (referencing), but stuff such as sour math and blue waffles sound unsuspecting, right? Think again
