All i need is a notepad and calculator beside my desk, Much easier if you keep track of " buys , Sells "on your notepad than going to your gold log and adding and subracting etc..
Eventually you will have to write stuff down on a notepad anyway. - If you are a serious Buyer / seller that wants to keep track.
But dont mind my opinion - I probally know nothing.
