I'm going to vote no, I'm an active BnP player (Bar n Pub) and I feel like chess falls under that category. We have on occasion some betting that occurs through chess play. I'm not sure what stipulations would need to be made in order to see that those who play chess don't disqualify themselves from being able to work with RLT (I know any game that involves betting DQs the player from using that FG on RLT)... but I feel like any discussion that you would want to have could made in the BnP forum.

I personally like playing chess once in a while, but I highly doubt it'd be a very popular forum, you'll need alot more than chess discussion to keep it alive. With the world being so revolved around technology these days, board games are just so obsolete to my knowledge.
Although I can say this, I think it would be awesome if we had an onboard chess game, D2jsp based.
With your permission (I'm going to PM you), I'd like to think up this suggestion alongside yours
