Yea that's another problem, if someone is selling something and the item is sold, user is forced to bump his thread with "item sold" instead of just editing the first post.
My biggest problem with this "no edit after 30min" is that if I'm selling multible items (lets say 10 for example) I have to post again every time one of those items has sold.
If I don't post people will be wasting their and my time by contacting me about items that are no longer for sale, however if I do post I'm breaking "Posting 2 back-to-back posts in one thread before 4 hours." rule.
This is extremely frustrating especially since there's no reason for it, forum admins can always see the original posts if needed.
I made an inquiry through "contact" at the bottom hoping to get some answers, this is the response I received;

The 30 min rule is there to prevent scammers editing their topics after a trade they scammed. Those topics are proofs, and should not be edited by anyone anytime.
Voted no anyways, I don't think this is possible.
