Voted yes, I'm curious as to any feedback you may have gotten from the admin team? I'm not sure how hard it is to implement and I'm sure they could tell you.

From past threads, it has become understood that this will almost never be implemented. Even with the tremendous support around the idea, I believe it revolves around certain limitations that the website itself cannot handle. Nevertheless, I keep this thread alive for 1) anyone else who has considered proposing this suggestion and 2) as a record of support.

Regardless of how you choose to spend your time here on d2jsp, trading via forum gold will always be a vital part of the d2jsp experience - if not the main reason why many people choose to use this site to begin with. If you are a "regular" trader like myself, it is not uncommon to browse through your past forum gold transactions and find records ranging anywhere from:

Showing Transactions From The Month of: · Total Transactions: 0 · Gold In/Out: 0.00 / 0.00

to

Showing Transactions From The Month of: · Total Transactions: 129 · Gold In/Out: 9,777.00 / -7,174.00

Forum gold logs serve many purposes such as:
  • Keeping track of who you have interacted with in the past.
  • Monitoring trading activity level (high's and low's).
  • Sources of income/expenses (what has made you forum gold vs. what you have spent forum gold on)
  • Trust Development (prolonged/numerous trades with a user can develop a level of trust with that particular user)
At the end of the day, your transaction log will always continue to grow. I believe that being able to see your total amount of transactions along with your total amount of gold in/out can be very beneficial to those of us who wish to see the amount of progress they have achieved since joining d2jsp.

Suggestion: Include two amounts that sum up your total transactions and your total gold in/out since you joined d2jsp at the bottom of the Forum Gold Management page. For example:

Total Transactions: 1,234 · Total Gold In/Out: 123,456.78 / 123,456.78

I see what you are pushing for in your suggestion above. But if your pushing for that why not push for Trust Development too. Maybe show the top 10 people that you have traded with on d2jsp. I would rather see who I can trust than my total transactions. Total Transactions seems kinda pointless because your not gaining something from it. All I see it being used for is something to boast about. I think the Trust Development idea is a better idea than the Total Transactions.
