It would be awesome to be able to edit your user blog, ya! If that isn't possible, maybe the below could act as a possible alternative?

Blogs are for what is on your mind at that time, or how your feeling at that time. Unlimited time for edits really seems to defeat the purpose, if you feel differently about whatever you blogged you should start a new blog so that others can see that you've changed, or have more information regarding the said topic.

Maybe a different logging system should be added, where you have the possibility for unlimited editing where user blogs stay the same. This would of course not be allowed to use for trading purposes.
Something on the lines of "User Logs". I believe this could also decrease all the edit requests the Senior Moderators are receiving, as it has been discussed earlier in this topic.
