So maybe the guild-less person gets Auto-PM'd by every guild that would like him to join.
I can see someone's PM box getting flooded,
and irritation from the user having to clear out unwanted invitations.
Who would have the authority to issue the invitation?
Should be guild owner only or a designated recruiter only,
otherwise there could be multiple invitations from the same guild,
resulting in more user irritation.
User should have option of blocking invitations, especially if he has no desire to join a guild.
I still think that selecting a guild should be a user choice.
Agree with this. But, I say yes to this so long as theres no pm's.
It should show up just like a friend request(Obviously with its own section but like friend request so that it is seperated from friend request). Maybe show that theres been a guild that has taken interest in you. Gives you the option to look at the info and if you dont like it then the invite will expire in so many days. Also think there should be a set amount of invitations that are sent out every month so that mass spamming doesnt happen. This way it still is the users choice to join the guild he so chooses.I might be pushing for something else but I also think guilds should be ranked differently. Points should be given for any number of things, not just Ladder Slasher.
How bout points for members with accounts that are in good standing and base it off of years with d2jsp. But if you have a warn then your points dont count towards your guild until they are removed.
Example: I have been a member since 05 and I have had few warns since I have been on d2jsp. I should be rewarded for good behavior and people should see that I am a good member of the "d2jsp Community."
I just think that theres a lot missing from guilds that could have been gained when it was made. This post was edited by 2Legit2Quit)aS( on Sep 15 2013 02:24am
