As for this suggestion - hell yeah!
I'm working alot with Linux distributions in school right now and to be able to get help with some stuff via d2jsp would be awesome.
It's also big enough for it's own subforum.

Indeed, I can't find any active linux forums out on their own except ubuntu forums but they shutdown their other os subforums so I think I'd be more active here if it were implimented.
