I think jsp has to add new games as time goes anyways. D2R got some nostalgia going but it won’t retain the numbers the original D2 did for as long as it did. The concept is dated entirely. Makes sense to continue the Diablo tradition.

Why not? It is part of the story they are telling. It fills in some chronological gaps. It’s a Diablo game.

The game is good, a d2jsp guild on there is open too. Best to dodge this bullet and not install it because it's addicting. It's great for long commutes or if you chill all day at Tim Hortons with wifi and coffee.
Online play consumes an average amount of data so 10gig + a month of data is needed if you don't use wifi.

The raids are 8 man raids, and they are difficult. Basically the same as a d2 max player game. But in open world farming/town everyone on the server can roam around freely and go as they wish so in world events everyone's there
Possibly 30 man raids later?
Also current beta PvP is 8v8
