you know D2 has been around for 20 years right ? and that the reason for that is pvp ? and that pvp in d2 is better then d2r? and that its not the same game. i mean D2R DOES NOT EVEN HAVE NAMELOCK.
you comparing a game released 20 years ago with a game released this year. look at all the other games on this site.

u can stll namlock but nowdays it get proc correctly

if u can breakdown it to just , ohh missing namelock and thats what pvp is for u , stick to vanilla d2 with the other 100ppl , complain about namelock and pvp died lmao

from a trading, strategy and dueling perspective its not the same game and should thus be separated from d2. you are welcome to your own opinion.

I think the only sub that needs to be separated for d2 and d2r is the trophy room

there is a massive gap in the quality of items being posted from original vs resurrected

But you’re comparing 3 weeks to twenty years

the need for additional sub forums is different.

(a) for the Trophy Room, we are all starting from scratch and old items dont exist. therefore the Trophy Room should be "Reset" to my mind. i.e. a new TR for D2R. This is the fairest outcome for new players, or returnee's / noting its a new game.
(b) for the strategy section, we already know that there are things in D2R that dont work the same as in D2. there are also now additional "features/bugs" that will need to be considered for pvp and incorperated into strategies, nevermind now having to take out other features/bugs that no longer work the same.
(c) for dueling communities legit dueling was always messy with different realms etc. better to start afresh with the d2r dueling community all in one place with no distractions
(d) for pvm (Lod, Classic, HC) there should be an exclusive d2r area, similar to reasons for (c)
