Search All Posts Needs Work - Topic

There should be a way to search for
-Your previous threads instead of posts
-Keyword to search for posts/threads
-Date range to search post/thread (eg. Nov 2019 - Jan 2020)

I never really cared for this feature until I did my first search today and realize how flawed it is
I needed to find a thread that was during November 2019
I went to search all posts

This description is misleading. If it was "you may enter a text label/tag for later reference" I would totally get it

But it has the part that says "to further define information about the search you are performing."

This automatically made me think it's a keyword search bar to better find my post which would make sense with the 500 max post results cause the word "freerull" I used in my posts would bring up posts well under 500 max of what I was searching for.

Didn't realize after the first search that it was just a label for ur search, pretty useless

Didn't help that there was no thread search option or a date range cause I looked in my gold logs and knew exactly what date it was

500 post is good if ur searching something recent 0-2 months or if ur not very active poster but if ur searching for something usually 4months + ur basically wasting fg that's why there should be a keyword search for posts or a date range you can select.

Tldr search is limited to 5fg for ur last or first 500posts in a subforum. everything in-between cant be search and should be fixed by adding search options
