No

I lost access to my jsp account from 11-17

I wouldnt be here today. Life happens, plus its nice seeing all the old school peoples accounts from back in the day.

this, vote no.
That's not because you want a new "hype" name that you're allowed to erase ppl ^^

This is the answer. Will never happen. Been stated many times.

Kevin did say an interesting point though, that there are some old accounts he would never consider reactivating.

Is there a story behind that?

I'd put the timer at 10 years, but this has been discussed before so I don't think anything's changing.

Tbh Kevin posted in a thread the other day about an account from 2003 that was never used, 0 posts.
He posted saying if it was ever attempted to be recovered he wouldn’t approve it, don’t see why they don’t purge accounts with 0 posts since 2002/2003/2004.

It would effect inactive locked/scammer accounts.
(the debts would be erased preventing any chance of the victim getting their scams repaid)

E/ Voted no

imagine how the account owner would feel after attempting to revisit jsp after 5 years?

I have a friend with over 10k fg who has not been on for over 10 years. He tried everything possible to get back on but since he no longer has the old email or much info associated with his old account he is unable to get back on.

No, Ive seen some people come back after years. Maybe if there was a way to do a smart purge on accounts inactive for 10 years the never posted with no forum gold? Then maybe?

i would like them to impliment something like d2 has instead, Where you have to reach such and such milestone for the account to be perm.

Like for example, something low,

100 posts in a 6 month time frame.
If you didnt reach that, but are still logging in, or show consecutive log ins for so many days out of the month,it stays active.

If not. poof
