his webserver already supports it, he can use his priv key or get a "verified" one for ~10 a year and open up the port.. either way current traffic (including passwords) is plain text :rofl:


thus I voted yes, should have just been opened years ago..

not even 10 a year, there are free services like Let's Encrypt or StartSSL
