I vote no since in the 6+ years I've been here it has happened very rarely, so it has never been much of an annoyance. Even if I could see how full a user's inbox was in his profile it would be more of an annoyance to check a user's profile every time I PM them than to just write up the PM and get the "user's message box is full" message.
However, if this were to be implemented I would suggest:
1. Make it only show whether the user's inbox is full or not. There is no need to know that a user has X% inbox space left; you only need to know if he has space for 1 more PM.
2. Have some type of indicator next to the PM button on the forums, so you don't have to go into a user's profile to check if his inbox is full. Something simple like a color change to the icon would suffice.

Annoyance to check profile? If you view the picture it could be implemented right next to the "send a message"
And I dont know if im the only one, but if i go to someones profile just to browse and i decide to go to pictures i notify the amount of photos they have(view photo gallery) The amount of pcitures they have is to the right of that
Yes, I saw the picture and that is in the profile isn't it? I don't think I've ever gone into a user's profile just to send them a message. I've always used the PM button (

) next to their posts on the forums to send them a message. That is also why I suggested having some sort of indicator next to that icon or just have the icon change colors if this were to be implemented.
I'm assuming that your second statement was a counter argument to knowing exactly how full a user's inbox is. Well, it's not a big deal, but it's useless to know that your inbox is exactly 30% full. All I need to know is if you have space for 1 more message, so just having it say "Inbox Full" when it's full would be more than enough.
