I don't know about the majority but I don't login to jsp to look at avatars and sigs.
They serve their purpose just fine right now.

the difference between the current size limits and the proposed limits as far as post height is concerned is equivalent to eleven lines of text.

on a smartphone, that's less than a swipe of your thumb.

the width is a non-issue, since they're responsive columns contingent upon post content, and are resized regardless of the width of a signature to fit the device or window.

there are no size limitations on images linked within a post, and a rendered just as frequently as signatures are, especially in the trading forum, or on services.

it's an outdated policy and should be updated to fit with the times.

I wouldn't be opposed to slight increase, such as 450x175 or something along those lines,
but for me the current size is fine. I wouldn't mind a slightly larger avatar though.

Anywho, I think your proposed size is way too large, and I honestly don't care if they get larger or stay the same.

There is no doubt in my mind the servers can handle it
I've been making sigs for 2 or 3 years now and any other forum I go on I will see sigs much larger
As sicklad mentioned, 500x300 is pretty standard and he votes for no are from people that know nothing of graphic design

The people that are voting no just because it looks fine as it is, don't actually have to change there sig size. It is for the people that want to actually use bigger signatures. Saying no for the sake of no doesn't help anything.

I said yes.. but I think that the size we use atm is fine, we don't need a bigger pic.. and you can still have 3 lines of txt under pic, ?

i think a slightly better kb size would be nice but the 400x 150 is fine to me i voted yes
