There's not really anything to gain or lose here other than just having a couple of cumulative numbers. If friends decide to send forum gold back and forth, then so what? Why would that be detrimental in the least bit? It would be there to keep track of things, just like the monthly amounts do.

As far as the site not being able to handle the amount of accrued forum gold, I'm fairly certain there are bigger, more strenuous things that d2jsp has implemented in the past. For example, have you thought about how much stress the server goes under just to support the amount of photos that are uploaded? What about keeping up with the amount of guild being created and their subsequent topics/pages? I can't imagine this suggestion being that much more difficult to add in than what this site has already established.

Yes, I was searching to see if a suggestion for this was up, happy to find that it was.

I think this has been suggested and denied due to a site load issue, it's a good idea but I don't think it will be implemented.
