This feature is practical on forums dedicated to manga/anime, but I don't think it would be of much use on this one (and I can easily imagine abuse). Also, on the other forums where I've seen this implemented, there are fewer inappropriate posts in general

the spoiler tags aren't really used for spoilers. It's used for organizing long posts. Also the ONLY way to abuse spoiler tags is to stack them. Which really is annoying but preventable. Put inappropriate material in a spoiler tag isn't ause of the spoiler tags. What goes into a spoiler tag was going to be posted regardless. Anyone who says otherwise are just speculating with no proof. ALL forums I use with spoiler tags don't have more inappropriate posts because of them..

I've always found them to be unnecessary and slightly annoying to deal with. I much prefer the simplicity of having everything in view and I'm sure the users responsible for keeping this forum clean feel similarly

Unnecessary really doesn't count for much. If they were necessary this site would have had them when it was first put up. It wouldn't have to be suggested. Image tags and youtube tags are also unnecessary. Although, I respect your opinion about them being "annoying" and you liking the "simplicity" of not having them, the reason for this suggestion being turned down the first time had nothing to do with that and therefore shouldn't be assumed that they shared the same opinions as you.
