people put random locations..
you could actually just put "Location: Jacob PIMP" and do this with a couple friends.. so you link to each other and somewhat..

i see many ways to abuse this and make it just a spam of bandwidth

Actually you could not put that location since there would be list of only real locations. ( This was posted already on first page after few questions/no answers )
