My suggestion: Change the icon on the left of the thread where it appears in the forums when you have posted in the thread (the little "envelope" icon). This could have a tick or a mark on it to make it obvious that you have posted in the thread. Here is an example taken from another forum using this:

http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/6682/threaddotnew.gif (indicating that I have posted in the thread)

1. You sometimes forget you've added your opinion to a post. This would help to prevent accidental double posts / spam.
2. It would help you to see when you have made an offer in a trading thread.
3. It is used by lots of other forums.

Please vote and leave constructive criticism, especially if you vote "no"!!!

I voted no bec I like reading a whole thread before posting. It kinda would defeat the purpose of having a "track this post" button aswell I track everything i post on. It's my responsibility as a Jsp user to keep track of myself not jsp's job. I would feel like i was babysitting for free. aint even happnin brah. best regards to your trying to help us :)

Don't see how babysitting comes into it.
It does not defeat the purpose of having a "track this post" button, it just allows for easier browsing when reading a forum. Do you track every single thread you post in?

Kindest regards

Every single thing no bec it no longer has any concern so there for almost every thread would look like that to me and would be useless. it seems as if everyone always wants to be lazy. Reading is good for you. the babysitting comes into play when you double post and get in trouble for it. they have to make a little thing to make sure you know you posted here, im sorry but instead of doing what ur asking they should make it enable-able through settings for those with a small IQ or those in which that may have a disease which impairs their memory. so if you want it on the site that is kewl just not mandatory for every one cuz i know i remember where I post it's kinda common sense to to read a whole thread leading up to if you want to post here or not. Best regards.

Proper formatting is also common sense.
e- And properly reading ideas is good manners.
