Well, Ive spent alot of time accessing Jsp via my Psp/Iphone recently, and ive explored the site quite a bit via these mobile devices.
Ive come to realize that there are many things that arent available on a mobile device that are available on the computer for this site.
Here is a small list of unavailable features on jsp via a mobile device:
1.) You Cannot Play Lottery. (And for all us gamblers, this can be quite frustrating. rofl.gif )
2.) You Cannot Play LS (Even with the a recent flashplayer download.sad.gif )
3.) You Cannot Purchase Fg, Or Donate (Or at least when i have tried you cant sad.gif )
I think that if the site went mobile via a windows mobile device, it would help greatly all around.
You could then attend to important trades, guild issues, and use other various fun parts of Jsp on the go!
I know how boring sitting in a waiting room can get...
I know how boring waiting for the friend you are picking up to get out of work is...
I know how boring (and awkward) those holiday times with distant relatives can be! (trust me! rofl.gif)
Well, if we had Jsp Mobile we could have something to do at all these times, and more!
Ive actually brought this idea up to Paul himself, and he actually seems quite interested in the idea of having a mobile version of Jsp.
In fact, he might actually go purchase a windows mobile device and set it up soon!
Here is our (abbreviated) conversation:
So...Paul agrees that its a good idea, what do you guys think?
why go mobile with a site who can not maintain as it is???
jsp is currently unable to meet the needs of its users on a computer platform
why would you want to go mobile with it?????
wouldnt that jsut take more away fromt he general user? are you gonna make a trade on your iphone in one to the games?
use msn or yahoo to chat...... your mobile phone should be able to look at the site as it is........ - the mhz my compz have and video i can do pretty much anything on my mobile i can on my pc
