I vote no. Guild's should receive merit based on the type of players in the guild and good mannered nature, not who can donate the most.

It isn't so much merit as it is status. For instance you don't see good mannered people receiving orbs for free. Being able to gain prestige for your guild via whatever system is implemented sounds like a great idea to encourage more activity within guilds.

Paul has already refused many times to implement any sort of merit based system similar to eebay etc. so I don't see why he would take the time to do something like that for guilds.

On a forum as large as this any merit system is actually pretty impossible due to the fact that you can go around offering FG for +points towards your merit. It's just not logical.

Thanks for your input though :D This is more for customization than anything.
