Won't happen when guild topics exist.

I voted yes - but I personally feel like it shouldn't alert the guild members of each tag. If the tag just simply linked users to that guild it would be one thing.

Example:

Me: Anyone know who the #1 guild is in the world?

Someone: *charm is the best

Me: I know it was a trick question.

I had to remove the tag because of an issue that I didn't even think about. Some guild names and player names are the same or similar. Unless they made it an alternate way to tag other than , I'm not sure that it would work out? Then again I'm no developer.

Cool feature, but I don't think it's correct for it to be added through forum post tagging. But I could see it in the guild options menu or something. Maybe for xx fg. But there would need to be a flood limit, etc

yep! I think this suggestion and mine are hierarchal. I'd still love a way to "@" mention a guild. How it alerts/interacts with those users someone more clever than I can come up with a suggestion, but there is something there for sure to provide more value to guilds.

Voted yes i think its a pretty cool idea as long as the guild leader can enable/disable it.
