I use to paint houses

I work in a metal shop. I'd love a place to shoot the poop about tools and what projects I'm working on.
Just cut some chocks for a 24' fishing vessel yesterday. ½" aluminum plate and requires 3 chocks to comfortably hold the "tender" on their shadow vessel.
New record for chocks. Smallest one of the set of 3 was just shy of 106". Required the forklift to transport.
I'd post a picture but sadly I forgot to exclude company logos and I'd dox myself.

Honestly you're best bet is calling up places and asking if they're hiring or checking for their open positions on indeed. I regularly watch my current company's indeed listings. They're desperate for people in the shop. Hiring people at 50-100% more than I was hired at because the pool is so small.
