If anything, they'd be updated to .svg, that way you're able to have them clear at any size with minimal bandwidth impact. The base for this was done a long time ago and was put on hold / canceled by Paul.

A pixel image can never look the very same as a scalable image, which is also the main problem. Keep in mind that some people spend a lot of $ to aquire certain stars for their very specific look. It wouldn't be nice to take that away from them by changing the star icon.

Speaking for myself I like the retro pixelated look.

e/ All stars have same shape (those I edited) and i played only with hue/sat. That range is ok for the color spectre d2jsp uses on stars.

Think a option to choose between old and new be cool, but curious what the kb size difference is if any?

I like the way it is. Just as I said I made this for fun and to see what you guys think about it...
Mainly goal I assume is create new stars/colors. Other than than I'd think it's too much :blush:
