its too easy to cheat in chess online by playing on the side with max ai and doing whatever your human opponent is doing (then replaying what ai does).

lessons and riddles make sense for fg but tournaments (where you bet fg) would be prone to get scammed and you wouldn't be able to prevent this really (at least I would not know how)

What does this have to do with anything? You could technically cheat at almost every game there’s a sub forum here for, including d2. Who cares? People still wager in those games too..don’t see how this is relevant to a forum going up or not

well if you cheat or bot in diablo or path of exile you might get banned and if you try to scam someone in pokerstars (i dont play so i dont know) by cheating, you might get banned too... (or scammer tag here)

but in chess you can't prove it and there is no anticheat detection that was my only point.

sure you can bet on anything and everything but anyone with lichess app on his mobile can do the ai thing.


I am all for a chess sub though I just wouldn't personally bet on it.
