I've been playing it and there definitely will need to be some sort of section added. 30 man raids, helliquary, 4 man groups mandatory for any boss in hell 2 and above. The only thing that really seems pay to win is how to get legendary gems but I find within the first 55 levels + 30 paragon you can have a decent full set without microtransactions.

I’m not sure how I feel about massive raids in a Diablo game but it might be refreshing from the norm.

I feel like if D3 was released originally on mobile, Diablo Immortal would have been the new version. It basically plays like D3 but if D3 wasn't dogshit. Has a ton of QOL changes, a completely updated paragon system so you're not just mindlessly adding paragon into the same stat every time you level, tons of daily bounties, 8v8 pvp (actually doesn't seem too bad tbh, i've only done it once for a quest though, but it seems pretty popular when they open the arena after dinner), clans you can join for raiding, then picking if you're going to be a shadow or an immortal for those quests, infinite ranking up gems system (in d2 perfect gems would be the highest you could go, but in immortal you can keep combining gems infinitely it just takes a long time because they're not the easiest thing to find in the game and are usually found doing hidden lairs or doing the battle pass stuff) Upgrading is 3 level 1 gems into one level 2, then 3 level 2s into a level 3, and 3 level 3s into a level 4, so the higher you go the more gems you need until it gets to insane amounts. The highest I have is a rank 4 damage gem and a rank 8 legendary gem. Legendary gems go in your main gear (head chest shoulder pants and 2x weapons) and then you can find set / rare items with specific colour sockets depending on what regular gems you want in your ammy, rings, belt, boots, gloves up to 3 sockets each I think. They also added a charm slot which gives you % damage bonuses on specific skills and it's a bitch to get the right ones but the goal is to have a charm with 5x bonuses for your specific class but it's hard because every time you upgrade your charm it rolls 1x random skill for any of the classes so it gets pretty annoying when the RNG gods aren't on your side. (i'm 35 paragon and my charm only has 2x skills out of 5).
