Like someone else said in theory it’s a good idea

It most likely wouldn’t ever be implemented. People would abuse sa more and post false accusations.
Or the accusations that have not ruled the accused as a scammer may pop up and they haven’t even scammed.

Posting a heads up on first 10 sa posts is kind of jumping to conclusions on some users. Not saying this would be an issue every time but it’s still an issue upon implementing such idea

punish false accusations harder than usual and trolls will lose their balls doing this

i like this idea but it needs to be implemented differently , not everyone has a big screen , not everyone wants to see their half page " spammed " with this .
maybe mark the suspicious users topic differently .. give it a small sticker or something like that .

I completely agree with this, which is why i feel some sort of new implementation is necessary.

I love the idea of severely punishing people who claim false accusations just to troll. Permanent IP ban or something, idk.

I'm just noticing a huge influx of people getting screwed over by people who are already obviously hitting people.
Hoping that this discussion can can help blossom a good idea if this one wont work, I really think more people need to collaborate on this issue and try figuring out a happy median to protect people.

I'd even be fine with a bright flashing/moving banner at the top of the trade section that says "Check Scammer Accusation First!"

Maybe having a PSA robotic thread that is red/green/bolded that is constantly being auto-bumped and staying on the first page in the trade section. The topic can be Jsp PSA Notifier and the contents can just be a warning about how to trade properly etc. . Having it move with the trades would be helpful.

Just seeing an active thread moving in the top of the trade section would help a bit. I'm not sure how difficult it would be to implement this, but a jsp chat bot that kept its post moving with trades but always near the top would help a bit too.

I've seen systems like this on twitch and its chatbot. I wonder if theres a way to integrate that into jsps trade sections.

Nah people just need to use a mediator.

Instead make the mediator notice more visible.

I'm liking the idea of having the scammer accusation thread as an actual floating thread in the active trade forums.
Not just a sticky, but an actual locked/unpostable thread that is always bumping itself every minute or so. You could make it toggleable for people who would rather not see it.

The only thing you need in the body of the post would be the link to the s/a section with tips on how to get a mediator/protect yourself.
It could also stand out by being a different color/text/font size than everything else.

I'll try putting something together in paint and maybe make a new topic? Idk.
