The idea is to take 0.01-0.05% to the buyers total, so its doesnt change anything for d2jsp owner. It's like everybody is paying for everybody safety. That amount is so low no-one will ever qq about it.

Not necessarily, but I do believe the community and/or d2jsp can do something about it. Something about what happened to the OP rubs me the wrong way. And rubs me even more wrong, when the OP knows he'll probably never see his FG again.

He got guilt-tripped in PMs by the user. Gave the user the benefit of the doubt (2014 join date). Which is all a reasonable thing to do.

Maybe implement a fund pool in the topic, after the SA thread is closed and the scammer was tagged, so others can tip in and help.

Something should be done instead of just telling the OP nothing can be done. That's not right.

People are free to donate to him if they'd like.

Does it suck that a new user's early interactions with the site involve this? Absolutely.
But this can happen to anybody, including long term users.

It's best to always err on the side of caution and I do agree this is very unfortunate.

It's not up to D2jsp as I previously stated though. If users want to come together and pool him fg there's nothing stopping them.

Yes, I agree with this and that's good. I just don't like the "sorry OP, your FG was lost in vain" mentality this community has. It's a terrible mindset, and I believe there's something we/or d2jsp can do.

It's just a blunt fact without a sugar coating my friend.
It's happened to me before, I've got 2 people locked but it was more of they had a sob story and it was as fraction of my current fg so i just sent in & they were never seen again after getting rid of said fg

He's spending all that time, so the accused can be given a scammer tag/locked. That's good. However, it essentially doesn't do anything, because that user already sent that 9kfg off. Yes, it's good to label him a scammer so he can't scam others, however, what about the victim? What does the victim get? His own thread to vent? That's all?

The victim gets paid back if the guy writes his wrong and pays back.

Otherwise yup just a locked/scammer tag.


This is exactly why I wont trade 2021s or old accs with low posts & no active history.. Because they are essentially throwaway accounts and if they bought em for say, 30 bucks and made 200 bucks worth of items via scamming fg then it's a huge profit for them.

I look for people who have been around consistantly for a couple years, check their profile, even spend 5 fg on a post search if I want.

I'm not saying OP is wrong for not doing that, but I feel it's a good way to avoid getting scammed so I'm typing it here for any/all to read.

im confused when i click the link it seems like the post was about a joke on the moderators and both accounts were locked but these posts are all about a victim and whatnot did i click the wrong link what is going on?? Cuz the link it looks like the moderators and the website sort of as is did a good job handling this situation

Another point to mention, is 's trading activity. https://i.gyazo.com/b8da213a9bd9e78cc4589c15873a7839.png. He's been actively trading with others with no issues to save up FG (completely normal, and encouraged!). He's given back to the community and has been participating. Then, all of a sudden, boom, it's all gone. Something isn't right with that.
