Regardless of ignoring anyone having the ability to have vacation mode or away mode as a premium or verified I think could be a benefit to those who would use it I know others may hate it or think its not needed but when you work in corporate world and your away for PTO or vacation you have an out of office message letting people know you will return your messages upon your return. Status: is not the same.

Not a bad idea. A planning on returning time/date on your profile. Auto response might be asking to much of this site but a little spot someone could see if they looked at your profile might be cool thought technically nothing is stoping someone from putting that in their notes section anyways is the only rub

Voted yes. I can understand why.

I don't think many people would even use this. Plus automated just seems silly.

Good idea for something real-time like in-game chat or something. But for a forum.. not sure
