Voted no, home page is an eye-sore so I just avoid it and skip directly to tracked topics or donor forum.

I don't feel the landing page is an eye-sore here. I like it a lot and I look forward to it. It think it looks nice on the Android Smart Phone while using the Google Browser App and in General use at the Computer. It does seems Tracked Topics has not changed in regards to the landing page and site links. In all respect if you want to skip the landing page and possibly when using general browser practices then you know how to do that.

If you end up having a change of heart here or an idea that this feature would make the landing page better for you then you are welcome to post a change in vote and add more to the discussion.

No need. I never see that page. I actually had to look as to how to get there lmao. My main page is the list of forums, which you can collapse.

I believe suggestions and changes are okay. This suggestion makes room for more on the Landing Page, possibly by Community Members, and while keeping it very simple and easy to collapse. Collapsing/minimizing is used across our forums and across our web browsers . Seeing collapsing on the Landing Page seems interesting to me.

In addition to the general use of it, admins might be able to track some users activity if members learn to collapse information and or be active within the landing page. I feel a simple additional like this is indeed good for our sites landing page and in the long term, as it enables more room for the site and the community to take interest themselves.

My point was more around the fact that the landing page is for singular use at first log in. After that the whole page is pointless. No one cares about seeing the top 50 $contributors. And the rest of the information is very easily accessible on the main forum page; which has sections which can be collapsed.

The landing page before this current one was rather that way, at least in the sense you are speaking to and some individuals. The current Updated Landing Page is in my opinion remarkable and goes to show all everyone who has contributed to the community continues to help make this site itself grow and evolve. I get this feeling from the Top 50 Customers being on the old landing and at the top to being at the lower half of the landing page, almost like a Foundation and one of Truth and Progress.

The Live Feature on the Landing Page we have now also shows popular forums across the site and that list changes all day long, this helping activity across the community and in a diversity of ways. While everything you may have mentioned can be accessed by continuing onto the site many members enjoy more than what is currently on the landing page, and in that sense making room for something else and in a manner that seems okay is all this suggestion is.

I also feel like bringing the collapse feature to the landing page makes room for customization and when logged in. For example it would be interesting to receive more notification on the landing page then the regular amount enabled across other parts of the site.

I do hear what you are saying and I am not suggesting you do things differently if you do not want to. I still think this site suggestion would allow something new and on the landing page. In that sense it would be something I would hope the community would enjoy. I don't know what that could be. In all sense of that what would you add to the landing page to make it more for you? Would this site suggestion allow room for that in a way you would enjoy it ?

Not really needed. I believe the main page was redone with some intent to present that information. There's really no pro's to being able to minimize those windows as it is more so a welcome page.
