Bingo! It’s nothing but pure spam and pathetic attempts with pathetic suggestions that are made with the goal of gaining reputation for "trying to make forum a better place" which would reward him with a trusted tag for an efforts invested to a forum.

No need , you don't check your blocklist every day and avatar doesn't impact anything .

I don't think that is the primary reason to block people. Could be a variety of reasons.

Blocking enables one to not have to deal with someone and to a limit. Having the users personal additions pass thru the blocking page seems like it could be a bit off putting for some, especially when Guild or other members share avatar design.

Simply putting it imagine having to block somebody that has the same avatar as the next superhuman. In this case does stuff roll down hill or is it hiding in the bushes waiting to be trimmed ? Do you catch my drift?

Avatar or not, you haven't indicated that they can contact you unexpectedly - this would mean the blocking feature is working as intended in my opinion.

There is also a graphic theft accusation thread if one has evidence of a violation of that nature as well (this is more regarding your reference to the same avatar used by a few people).
