Already so few people seem to use this feature, so charging FG for more pages seems a bit miserly. I mean... it's just a blank page of digital notpad, the type everybody has on their computer and might as well use instead. Well, other than that I like all of your suggestions.
From my perspective if they don't use its probably cause its lacking functionality.
But to have notes in one place you can access from multiple locations is very useful to me and others.
Saving anything to ones machine limits it to just that, the one machine.
I find myself pming myself things to save various notes, and I'd rather have the inbox space or not have to use external media/web tools to bring things with me.
