I can’t speculate if the multi rate would increase; it’s pretty rampant as is. Your first statement is inaccurate though. A quick browse of that subsection shows a tremendous amount of repeat offenders, potentially greater than half (I’ll review the totality for S’s and G’s when I have a minute)

This is indeed true, but keep in mind that they all paid it back in the end. I believe that even the accusations with close to 0 proof is also added to their repay-list.

I don’t agree with making a permanent mark on those users, however, I’d prefer if it took longer to remove the scammer tag and the locked gold.

Think of how it benefits against repeat offenders.

Less scams would occur.

Making the process longer would also end up in less scams I imagine. Having a permanent mark for previous scammers would surely lead to more multis being made.

The multi madness is already out of control.... It isn't gonna get worse.

I'm pretty sure people would stop repaying scams if the tag didn't come completely off.
Also anyone can start scamming on this site. It's often enough when the person has real life issues.

I’ll agree with that.

I agree and disagree. I believe people who have committed multiple offenses in under a certain time frame should have some consequence. If the offense was over x amount of years ago then it falls off. But recent scammers, or people who have done it multiple times, I believe should have a tag.

On the flip side of that, if you start this, it’s a long down word spiral for people. A lot more multi swill be created (even more then we have now) and it will become exhausting for our S/A team.

This is a very tough action right here.

An icon or some component denoting status as a repaid scammer would be nice, potentially even someone with an accusation that’s active (mostly for UAP).

I’m not sure if this has been suggested previously, but transparency when trading is always nice.

There's no way this will happen, its been suggested before and denied.

Anyway, there are a few other ways you can vet someone before you trade with them. Going through their recent posts real quickly to see if theres any open SA accusation against them can help. You can also do a google search for their username + "scam" on JSP.

You need to make a poll for this sort of thing for future reference. Inb4 closed.

You have an account for 13 years. Are you the same person as 13 years ago?

2019 - 2018 = 13?
