The accial reason i think it is a good idea, is the fact that there are many topics around that simply have no reason to be opened. Since i understand that editing topic names isn't avialble - it is the second best way to let other people know you do not need the specific item / you allready got what you needed.

Suggested the same thing before, and this can also be used for scams in certain ways, and if it really lags jsp more i would say no to, leave it like it is on that matter

you can always pm a tm/ta and have your thread closed....if its in dire need of it..

Yeah, agreed with d2bomber, you can always pm someone... and i dont think the other thing is a good idea..

IMO this is not needed cause like Paul said u can type Topic closed at the end of ur thread....if som1 replys ur thread after u saying topic closed its considered spamming...in this case just Pm a TM with the link of the thread....simple as that

bad idea, like someone said, just say closed. When i stroll the forums i pm a mod if someone requests a close and sometimes mods see it. if people keep spamming your thread after you closed it, just pm a mod.

i still think this is a good idea but i guess too many reasons why not to do this..
