Voted no because I often use this function to keep eye on my guild members, and screen new requesting members. It also comes in use to check peoples topics where they had spammed or violated rules, etc etc. Multiple great reasons imo to keep it the way it is.
^^ Sorry.
I agree with this. Voted No for same reasons. But I do understand what you are talking about Skymaster. I get people private messaging, and or posting on very old topics for items that have sold long ago, Or for things that I have bought and am no longer ISO. If it is possible maybe something like Skymaster was saying where you can remove topics from your recent topic list yourself. But once removed from recent topics it would just be saved to a new folder labeled inactive topics or, Recently closed topics or something like that. That way both issues would be solved? Essentially it would make d2jsp users able to moderate there own topics on the forum, But not to a the point that anyone wanting to read these topic couldn't. It would just be closed so no one could post on it, And would tell everyone that this item is no longer needed, Or for trade.
