Just give the gold to the guild leader / co-leaders.
If someone within the guild needs forum gold to do something, just ask.

im all for it but dont you think guild leaders would abuse this power?

maybe not even let guild leaders take fg from it but only use the fg to buy guild topics and such?

well, if you now send the fg you donate to the guild, to the owner, cant he abuse it already?
imho it should have the feature to send to users (by owner), in case if someone sends wrong amount, or sends it for wrong guild rtc

Just like in real world the big company owners raises their own bonuses because of greed, it is a problem, but if the employees aren't satisfied with their compensation for service they will change company.

Some big company bosses near my work, I have heard of, are doing their own dirty work today, because of lack of respect towards customer and employees. Sometimes it is not about the risks, sometimes its about the oppertunities! Just like the stock markets or a lot of other types of business.

Isn't it the same thing right now? I mean sometimes my "guild council" sends me fg / igg to purchase guild features and set it up.. I mean yeah..even now.. If I was that kindof person I could walk away with it..delete all 80 members and keep everything to myself lol.. But, i'm not that kindof guy. If there is someone out there..and a member of d2jsp.org joins the guild..sends fg donation to guild leader for starting the guild/ just donating for w/e.. And guild leader fails to deliver what they wanted.. Maybe you should be in a different guild?

Edit: The guild itself afterall belongs to the Guild Leader. In the end..now or if after this goes through.. He/she could abuse his power.

In my opinion the bank could help benefit guilds as long as the fg could only be used for guild accessories like guild topics and member slots so that way guild leaders and such could abuse it

One more thing came into my mind. I think it should cost abit to get. Like 500-1000fg. And it would stay with the guild if you sell the guild, bank goes with it and if there is fg left, it goes too.

So it would be a guild feature just lke others.

Gotta agree with this... If it's given to the guild, it's just being given to the guild leader anyways.

As it is, we can already give upgrade gang access to members, so not really sure what this would accomplish.

Sure, it could be useful to make like a payment situation, but again, can that not be done simply by the guild leader holding the FG?

The only thing i see this really doing is making the guild set up more confusing.



I'd say make this only be able to donate to your own guild if anything, which would eliminate sending to the wrong guild.

And again, why not just have the Leader hold FG? Either way, you're trusting all your FG to the leader in one way or another. If you can't trust them, you should be in a different guild.

A question though: Is the guild bank's contents hidden, or revealed? I honestly can say that if it's hidden, it could cause a problem with the trading rule about not offering what you don't have, as the richer players will tend to deposit it into their guilds that they own just to get the beggars to leave them alone. But if it's public, it will just show everyone what your guild has in terms to FG stored, which i don't think is right.

I get donations simply to me sometimes.. If you considerwhat a guild leader sinks into the guild to start it off..and the times he puts in on top of it..recruiting etc.. And those donations that are meant for me..I still rarely keep. That being said, what if someone donated me 50fg and then another wanted to donate to guild topics and such.. So he sends to me 35 fg.. Now, another member donates to me.. 40 fg..and another donates to guild of 80 fg..

When you have more than 10 guild members.. It is seriously hard to keep track of whats donated to the guild..and whats donated to the leader. The feature wouldn't make things more complicated..it would defenately make things easier. As for storing your fg in your guild bank.. I dunno. Why would one want to do that? What would that guild leader accomplish really by doing so lol? More fg on account shows more power 2/3's rule in trading..so it would make that worse.. I'm not sure I follow you on that part lol.

On top of that..if guild leader puts his own fg in the guild bank any member in the guild able to purchase guild features would have access to it.. SO.. in a large guild..that most likely wouldn't make sense.

But I do agree.. like it should be a purchasable feature.. 500-1000 fg..maybe more to have it.

Edit: Also wanted to add that if I want to trade items for Forum Gold.. and keep track of that as well.. It's even more confusing lol.. It's a major number game that I don't want to have to worry about. Someone wants to donate to guild topics n such..put in guild bank. Someone wants to donate to leader..send to leader..I want to gain fg by trading items for it.. It's not mixed with the guilds forum gold :).

Edit++: Sending to other members in the guild to hold on to .. is not the same as the guild bank lol.. Then THEY have to deal with all the weirdness.. Also then your trusting everyone's fg donated to guild with another guild member.
