this is not needed. it is just a signature.
turning sigs off, when browsing via phone, isnt option.
i want to see sigs all the time. it also helps identify users quickly.

i know all my friends sigs, so i dont need to look usernames. i can keep my eyes in mid of the screen.

This site isn't for graphics, it's for games
Some people still have crap internet quality and browsing jsp on their mobiles would be hell
People are also too lazy to disable them while on phone only to re-enable them when they get on a PC, imo



Signatures (or tags) can be as big as 500x500, and maybe even more, doesn't look stupid at all
Go to any graphic-related forum and it's normal for people to use huge forum tags

But agreed, a lot of people change their signatures frequently, would be pointless to use them as a way to identify people

I voted yes but I'm sure that during the duration of this forums existence, this suggestion has surfaced numerous times. It's unfortunate that the signature rules haven't been updated. The graphics community could potentially even get bigger if graphic artists from other forums could display larger signatures here. The graphics community is already a pretty nice one on this forum. I just wish we weren't so limited. I'd at least like to be able to go up to 500 x 250 pixels w/ like 150kb limit (so I don't have to compress PNG's every time I make something lol).

i vote yes. but increase in avatar size would be better. this site has the smallest avatar size limits ever. it's really lame.

This too. Perhaps it deserves a separate suggestion thread. I wouldn't be surprised if that has been suggested a few times already as well. Either way, 150x150 pixels for avatars and 500x250 pixels for signatures would be awesome.
