Suggestion #1
I would like to see a new length of time added called forever.

Adding the length of time called forever would be useful for topics that you always view often. Such topics may include your events page or guild page or even a trade forum. It could also remove the hassle of having to relocate an old topic that the tracking time has expired. Since forever is forever, you could theoritically track something, leave jsp for 2 years, return and it would still be tracked.

I do realize that there is an option to track any thread for 3 months but to me if i want to track something that long i might as well track it for my entire jsp lifetime, which is what i am suggesting. I mean its a hassle to have to find my topics every 3 months just to track them again.

Suggestion #2

Allow us to set the amount of time we want to track a topic we create, instead of forcing a month on us.

Maybe i only want to track a topic i make for 1 week. Maybe my topic is so important that i want to track it forever.
Who knows? I just would like options....

Yes, No?
You tell me!

You can do this. I think 3 months is long enough for 1 topic

Yes you can. Dont check off the box that says [x] track topic while creating. Then once its posted, go back to it and click Track Topic

Why should we have to do it in 2 steps.... mush easier to do it before you even click the post button.

many, many, many users have taken breaks of at least 3 months from jsp; it's not that long; and all those tracked topics would be lost once the user returns

both are legit. i typically have 9-11 guild chats tracked at a time and 2-3 other topics permanently tracked so when they all expire at once i'm like wtf?!
