It seems a bit specific in my opinion. If this was added, then other phone OS's sub forums will be requested. As of right now, how it's stated, it's a no from me.
Expanding this idea into a larger forum, for phone discussion for example, might be able to make it more realistic. You have to question the actual activity of a sub forum when it's this specific.

that seems like it would be combining too many things, stuff would get lost. I suppose they could create just one forum and then if it seems like too much we can complain in here and get them separated out. There just isn't nearly as much to talk about with iOS compared to android. You don't have ROM's, you don't have different models (obviously other then the ones apple puts out). I'm just afraid the forum would just turn into an argument fest over which type of phone is "better" and that's something I would rather avoid.
