Could be done differently so it doesn't have to track all the topics and posts, like a sort of bookmark but attached to your jsp account

Actually yes, this would be great, a bookmark type thing attached to your jsp account, in case you frequently use different computers or devices that aren't computers so you can easily get to your favorite jsp sub forum

Here's an idea...
Track a random thread in your 'favorite' subforum..
Then click on the subforum that's bolded + underlined over the thread, but don't pay attention to the thread at all?
