Been suggested before.
Voted no.
If you want to have a discussion where you get to choose who is posting/responding, then perhaps a forum is not the best place to have it.
Learn to Forum - In all seriousness..just ignore ridiculous posts or let the mods deal with it.

i like your thought the prob is they take the ez way and handle it by closing the thread....this action solves nothing and allows these spammers to win at the game they just love to play

if my thread got closed due to spam and everyones spam that got reported meant that they all left with at least 10% warn fine but that's just not the case they leave scott free and laughing that they closed another thread and on to the next one.

seem to me that every section on this site has it's share of trouble makers that just like to follow other members around and spam their threads til they at some point get closed and that person has to remake the thread over, worst of all is the person doing the spaming seldom gets any warn or any repurcution what so ever....so what's to stop them from continuing to do this?

My suggestion for this problem is that we would let the block user option on the inbox also apply to threads we post to keep these annoying people out and keep the threads open for the purpose that they were intended.

In time more and more people would end up ignoring these same people til they were just unable to get away with the bullshit they once did.

Let me know what ya all think about this idea

Woow amazingly good idea.
Voted yes ofc.

There are too few mods and they have plenty of other things to do that's the reason for which these spammers get away without punishment.

It is like having too few doctors, and an epidemic spreading amoung the people.

Having this option would provide us ourselves the cure for our disease.
