But voted yes. Would make it easier to keep track of "latest bumped topics" in case it expires from tracked topics.

thats true, Its just the latest ''hot'' topics will be easier to be seen so i can check on them.

I like this idea, but my suggestion would be to separate it from “Recent Topics” into something like “Active Topics” and then have a filter similar to the trading forums with Discussion/FT/ISO/PC.

I am not against this suggestion at all, I do however think it's a good start to implement the first suggestion as a start and see what it does.
