Cool idea, but from my prospective it would make the page quite busy and topics are easy enough to find IMO.

From a design standpoint for something like this it should go vertically, not horizontally and some guild topics are not visible for non-members making it a waste of clean space in my eyes.
You naturally want this to scale and be able to work across devices with a up/down scroll as it's more orthodox to the general mobile user as well.

Withholding my vote for now, I like the idea behind but the styling/engineering it would take could be better allocated elsewhere; with not a big difference in generating more/unique users to each said topic.

Feel free to push back, just my prospective :)

I think the idea is it will fully mimic how the new topic tracker works now. Instead of the 3 sections as in topic tracker it will be 2 sections.

Am I off on that?

Nope, that is exactly what I was thinking!! Furthermore --> on mobile it would act like the profile sections, by stacking atop each-other as one column ( I assume the new topic tracker acts this way as well, I only have one row of tracked topics currently).

Yup it works by stacking them. Currently have regular topics + guild topics tracked. Regular section goes on top and guild goes in the bottom.

That's exactly what I imagine this suggestion doing on mobile, and desktop browsers would be as in screenshot in original post!

Great idea. Got anything in mind for the mobile layout?

In portrait mode it'll just be a really long web page and in landscape it could move to your design? Pretty sure there's already something that does this.

Yes sir! It would operate just like user profiles currently, where the columns are then stacked at the mobile viewpoint :)
