Their should be a 30min wait time for gold to settle in an account let’s say over 500fg the accused should have a temp hold on their purchases and once the evidence is reviewed a decision should be made it is not that difficult…..

You mean as a global setting for everyone trading, or just if the accused is shoveling 500 or more FG?

But how do we know the accused is guilty. What if they sell a great item to Dave for 1k FG, because they want to buy another item someone else is selling? If the trader has to wait, then they might get boned out of a good deal

Hi Tvau,

A form of this is already in place. If there are multiple accusations against a user, the users ability to send forum gold will be suspended until further review. From there the S/A team will review the evidence and determine wether or not the user is guilty or not. If the user is guilty, a lock tagged will apply, if the user is not guilty, their fg access will be restored and free to trade.

The only way to prevent scams is requesting a mediator.



Any sort of waiting between transactions to wait for fg to settle into your account will not be implemented. This would cause huge inconvenience for traders, many of us do 5-10 trades at a time when selling multiple items.

People would grief by making accusations to lock peoples gold if you were competing on items. If you have a waiting period, people will just wait. You can't try to out game people that are exploiting the system. Just be smart, be diligent, and be careful how you trade.

All "funds" i.e in game items, to the donor forum all have real value.
Use to be a way in d3 to transfer fg for $. Probably many games have that feature.

That's what the Scammer Accusations section is for. All accusations of fraud are played out there what a reported. And if the scam is confirmed, appropriate steps are taken.
