It would be nice if there was favorite section, where we could add individual forums to it. For example, let's say you use two forums from the diablo 2 section, three from the Other Games section, and two more from the Off-Topic section, it would be nice to have those individual forums all group together in a favorites section at the top of the forum list page. You wouldn't have to scroll down to find the forums you care about. It would also be nice to place this new favorite section on your profile page for as another means of access off the forums you care about.

tracking isn’t the same, notifications for whole forums are annoying
merging is nice because it means you won’t miss anything by going back and forth
