What does everyone think about linking your Bnet account to JSP

Just out of curiosity since everyone now has one account.

What if we could link our Bnet Tag to jsp and be more legit and maybe have a dedicated Stash / Inventory of items you have for sale. People can then go to your stash and see a list of items with description. (Maybe the gear your character is wearing)

I got scammed earlier in game and turns out multiple people on here were scammed by the same guy. If his Bnet was connected to JSP I dont think he would have risked it. Regardless it got me thinking in this direction.

Let me know your thoughts / reasons for this being a good / bad idea. Cheers and Bless all of you!

wouldn't that require some type of api key on battlenets end? for the dedicated inventory thing

Not sure about methods of application, just an idea.

what about a simple form you fill out on jsp with your bnet that only can be used once on jsp so other people cant take yours. Would be a way to verify who you are trading with when you join a game since you can right click on their names and whisper to see their BNET tag.

or maybe its just not possible im not sure.

A one time-uneditable linking of your battle.net tag to your profile might work for sure. I don't know the logistics involved in actually linking, and that'd probably be a disaster if blizz ever found a way to reverse-engineer that per say. A compiled list of jsp users LOL

My thoughts on blizzard getting involved is a little different. Companies usually DON'T go after individuals at times like this they go for the website / source.
So we are assuming blizzard doesn't know about jsp which is false. Therefor jsp still being around tells me blizzard terms of service allows it. ( I could be wayyyy offf )

okay that makes sense, don't know much about the TOS on blizz, i just buy the games lol

im doing research on Blizz ToS right now to see what the connection is has been and can be. Will get back in a few!

Scratch that seems like they cant do anything much to jsp but CAN, if they want flag terms like "jsp" and possibly ban individuals.... But its all mixed information and have not read anything about anyone getting banned.

Go post this idea on the b.net forums and lmk how it goes. That should answer your question.

why when b.net can do it to their own game with api and everything? I'm talking about jsp where we all are!
