Maybe if you're an extreme outdoor adventure naturalist looking at plant fossils.

I think what he means is we don't think it would gain enough traction to justify it's own sub-forum honestly. It would be more suited as a blog post (or as he suggested it could be covered under the "Nature" category in that sub-forum.

This could be something to look forward to in the future as I could see it relate to this site suggestion.

I dont hike because im lazy, most i do is longboarding

But what id do is include a link to your backpacking travels in your sig and post it in the nature section.

Sounds like itd be pretty cool to follow if you include pictures from your travels.

Where about's do you live? I don't really understand how you're too lazy to hike, but longboarding requires a good amount of energy. lol

Hiking requires me carrying gear and finding a good trail.

Where i live on N tropical trail (the street name) the area was repaved so the streets ride smooth af and all i gotta do is throw on some shorts and grab my board

west coast trails british columbia is something else.
also, plan to travel to austrailia and do some backpacking there as well as new zealand. And HOPEfully, Hawaii. good lord man. I'd absolutely love to backpack in Hawaii.
