so d2jsp trading rules say:
Illegal Trades:
Do not trade accounts, characters, or names. (Exceptions: Eve Online)

after a quick conversation with a few members it turns out this is not true. (https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=78871427&f=34)

you are allowed to trades names for diablo 2 - if you do it the correct way.


my suggestions is to update trading rules and let all people know how to properly trade their diablo 2 names on d2jsp.

People do it all the time. You can't police everyone doing something like this when the whole concept of trading offline is not allowed on Blizzard's TOS to begin with.

i dont wanna police anything.

i just suggest to update the trade rules.
trade rules say its illegal. but in fact it is not.

i just want to clear things up for all d2jsp users.

You can trade Name when you Delete it and buyer will create it again.

You cannot trade account with names.

Its simple and is written in Trade Rules - Ilegal Trades.

where do you read that?
i can only read

Illegal Trades:

i do not see that i can trade names in any way in diablo 2

This. Its a common question i often see. Would save mods alot of trouble if it were updated.
