So I personally pm'd njaguar to ask about this and gave my platform on it. He told me to post here.

My grounds for a smoking section:

1) In the past year, 2 states have legalized the use of marijuana recreationally, not just medicinally.
2) In the past 24 HOURS, 2 states have had cities legalize the recreational use of marijuana (Michigan and Maine)
3) As of September, 20 states have legalized medical marijuana
4) Everyone knows that there is a medicinal side to marijuana
5) Everyone knows that a VERY LARGE portion of JSP are smokers of all substances.
6) I think that the section would draw a huge audience. And it doesn't just have to be Pot smoking. There are so many subsections to be had.
For example, cigars, cig talk, medicinal marijuana, pieces, etc.
7) And to justify it even more, we have a Bar and Pub section, where we can talk about drinking (which we can do anywhere) AND GAMBLING which is illegal in most states
8) Lastly, we can have names like 420bluntsmoker420, we can have sigs of pieces, sigs of marijuana pictures and other paraphernalia. But we can't talk about it?


Cmon, this argument to not allow the talk in d2jsp is equal to how positive America's war on Marijuana has been

Opening a section for this will cause a lot of spam and other illegal drugs will most likely be discussed.

Seriously in places where it's already legal people don't talk about it 1/2 as much as these potheads

Gambling is illegal in most states and there is a sub for that like he stated. And I realize the mod team is horrible at stopping spam and multis but atleast the drug spam would be contained in that sub and not everywhere else like it currently is...
