It would be nice if we had JSP approved mediators for FT5 wagers. I've done a few just by volunteering in USEAST NL trading grounds. But i've seen more than a few SA about people being welched and it would be nice if JSP put forth an approved option to help limit these things from happening.

Voted no.

1. Even though there are generally accepted rules, there are gray areas (what constitutes overly defensive play for example) which make it very hard to mediate fairly.

2.If you solve the first problem, there is always cheating to be taken into consideration. While blatant AA/TMC is obvious, it can almost be impossible to tell if someone bumps up their fhr by a single frame. Experts can often tell but they have to be the ones dueling, it's basically impossible to detect from a third person perspective.

3.The amount of whining would be OVER 9000!!!!!!

4.Most of the trusted/mediated that already exist on the site don't play d2 or are horrid duelers~

I love ft5 wagers, but I can't ever see them being mediated by jsp :(

Given how easy it is to cheat in dueling, the complications of the rules and the arguments that would ensue if one party disagreed with the other or accusing the mediator of being biased or incompetent, dueling at your own risk is fine as it is. Which by the way should not be posted in the trading grounds in the first place since they belong in my events.

It is also futile to post a ft5 welch in the s/a's. It cannot be judged when the medi wasn't in the game. Even when he/she was there, the hacks you'd need to see what cannot normally be seen, will not show everything you need to know to judge if it was fair.

The best way to make this as fair as possible is to create a community (my events) with ppl who will do these ft5 regular. Ppl can cheat once or twice, but eventually others will find out and they can be kicked from the community.

voted yes to satisfy my split personality ^

I would have to Agree.. People always cry. If there was a mod it would be much easier to see the real winner.

You naturally wouldn't agree to a ft5 with someone you think is using mods. Also in any FT5 wager match im going to want to see a post of someone's left click

It's not about making sure people arnt using mods to win, its about making sure the winner gets the fg
